Ciara is a native of Kilkenny and currently works at Voiceworks Studio in Cork (www.voiceworksstudio.ie). She teaches all genres of singing to young and old, and also teaches piano. She performs regularly as a vocalist and has just returned from 18 months in Chicago where she was well-known for her Irish traditional singing, teaching, and choral conducting.

- Ciara, in 2006 at Crosshaven during Cork Week Sailing regatta you came on board our yacht Moondance and sang Moondance to us all. We were captivated and knew we would hear of your success in the future. I was reminicing last night about Cork 2006 and we googled your name. I am so pleased you are doing well on the international stage. If you have a recording of Moondance i would love to get a copy .... Where could i get one.

Dayton, Ohio, City Folk concert October 22nd 2011

Thanks to all who attended the Bohola concert with Jimmy Keane, Sean Cleland and Cormac McCarthy at Centennial Hall, Dayton, Ohio. What a beautiful venue and a wonderful audience.
In response to those who are wondering when I will have a recording out, I hope to bring something out in the next 9-12 months.

Irish Heritage Singers present ''A Journey Home'' November 20th @ 2pm.

Be sure not to miss the Irish Heritage Singers' biggest show of the year, ''A Journey Home''. 2pm, November 20th at the Irish American Heritage Center.
For the first time ever, the Irish Heritage Singers will sing Sean Nós song (old stye song) as Gaeilge, and will take you on the musical and cultural journey of an Irish immigrant from the green shores of Ireland, to America, and back home again. Show will include a beautiful selection of Irish song for SATB chorus, dance, Irish traditional music, Irish American choral works,and new arrangements of traditional Irish songs for SATB choir.

Accompanied by: Cormac McCarthy and Seán Cleland (of the Irish Music School of Chicago)

Atlantic Steps
